The Three Types of Views

Strongly recommend using LIST VIEW or COLUMN VIEW.

CMD + 2: Change the current view to LIST VIEW

CMD + 3: Change the current view to COLUMN VIEW

✅ To Do: Use Better Finder Settings

  1. Change to LIST VIEW [CMD+2]

  2. Menubar > View > Show Path Bar [ OPT + CMD + P ]

  3. Menubar > View > Show Status Bar [ CMD + / ]

  4. Menubar > Customize Toolbar > Add “Show Path”

  5. Menubar > Show View Options [ CMD + J]

    1. Always open in list view
    2. Browse in list view
    3. Show Columns:
      1. Date
      2. Size
      3. Kind
    4. Calculate all sizes
