1. Show audio in menu bar
   • System Settings [NEW] > Control Center > Sound - Always Show in Menubar
   • System Settings [OLD] > Sound > Keep audio in menubar
2. USB devices
   • System Settings [NEW] > Privacy and Security (Scroll down) > Allow Devices to Connect: Always
3. Full Disk Access for applications like your DAW, Kontakt, Google Drive, OneDrive, Wwise/Wwise Launcher.
   1. System Settings > Privacy and Security > Full Disk Access
4. DISABLE iCloud “Desktop & Documents Folders” (may also be named “Files and Folders”)

   • When you browse Finder, the “cloud” icon next attached to a file or folder indicates that it may have been removed from your local machine and only exists in iCloud. MacOS will automatically download these files as needed, but this WILL cause problems in many applications — including ones we use in MFNM coursework!!!

   • Either TURN OFF this feature or be diligent about NOT storing files in these locations.

     REMINDER: This feature WILL cause problems with assignments that you turn in. You will receive a ZERO when an assignment can’t be graded!
