There are several apps that do this — the trick is finding one that isn’t bloated with adware, spyware, or costs an unreasonable amount of money.
Otherwise, you can just use Quicktime and a virtual audio driver.

NOTE: You may need to bypass certain security settings to install this software. This is something you will have to do frequently with Mac computers, so I won’t describe it in detail here. Nevertheless, if you have issues, please look up how to work around them!

Set your system audio output to “BlackHole 2Ch”

Note: If you are using an application that sets its audio output separate from the system, please go into that application’s settings and set the output to BlackHole 2Ch

Open Ladiocast
Under INPUT 1,** select “BlackHole 2Ch”
Under MAIN OUTPUT, select your main output device (Macbook speakers, audio interface, headphones, etc).

Note that in this image I am receiving INPUT from BlackHole, but nothing is currently outputting to my speakers.

Each INPUT has corresponding buttons to route that input to the different available outputs. Under INPUT 1, press the “MAIN” button to playback your system audio to your listening device.

Now you can see that sound is going out my audio interface (UMC202HD) and I can now hear it on my speakers.
You can also see that the built in microphone is picking up this sound, but I don’t have this being routed to an output so I’m not worried about feedback.
